This is slightly off beat for my Christian blog but feel that habitual lying and manipulation of customers by companies needs to be addressed. (Photo - AT&T employees address customer at Apple-like mini genius bar hubs.)
First, a brief overview of Ephesians 6:10-12 that says:
I know there are degrees of evil in the world but feel it's necessary to report my experience that AT&T's full of lying demonic spirits that possess its employees who continually lie to customers over the phone in order to herd them into their local store needlessly. You may not think this as being too serious but what if on your way to AT&T's store you encountered an accident or life threatening situation? Time vampirism is potentially dangerous in any busy city such as San Francisco. The mind trickery is also an issue of concern, no one likes being lied to, it's disrespectful! Lying's clearly Satan's form of religion.

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."I encountered spiritual darkness at AT&T!

I experienced a bait and switch plan being lied to by two phone reps and then an attempted cover-up causing me to have to go down to their store where they robbed me of another 30 minutes of my time while arrogantly proclaiming I threatened their lunch hour that I should get an appointment and come back another time. I was shocked by the continual lies I was told that I later learned were all imaginary and disrespectful treating me like a senile Alzheimer's patient. A religion of lies was used to get me down to their store to play with my mind even more. They took my name from me, placed it on a screen and treated me like herded cattle as a non-human being.
Upon entry the customer is treated to their name in lights on an LCD monitor where they're told they must wait 20 minutes for service. Meanwhile, employees are allegedly "at lunch" when approached for service just hanging around on the sales floor. "Why do people take lunch at 2:30 pm?" I asked in response to his claim. The employee acted all defensive as if I was suggesting they didn't deserve a lunch break. I was then offered an opportunity for an appointment to come back another time so he could have his alleged lunch hour on the sales floor.(Photo - my name up on screen they took from me at the door, all two customers waiting).
I don't know what customer service classes these people take but you don't go around telling customers you're at lunch when you're standing on the sales floor staring into space like a zombie. I also don't
know about all the liars I encountered over the phone at AT&T who used a bait and switch plan and then tried to cover up with an offer for some other imaginary plan sending me down to their store for a new SIM card.
After I finally was given service the guy waited on the phone 15 minutes only to come back with "our system's down." No apologies were offered. We're talking what should have been a simple activation of a second phone line, pay per minute as you go. AT&T was a disgrace to deal with in its trying to trick me by changing my plan to $25 per month rather than per 90 days. (Photo - AT&T guy on the phone for 15 minutes trying to activate my phone plan.)

Two employees hang together in teams ignoring other customers long wait for assistance.
Employees could have helped but chose to make me wait at their convenience. I spent a total of 30 minutes at the store to get the issue resolved and 3 hours to address the issue in its entirety. For details of all I went through to get a second phone 10 cents per minute plan from AT&T see details in description of video.
The arrogance I encountered at this AT&T store along with the phone reps lying was just mind blowing. Only Satan could possibly cause such arrogant lying manipulative behaviors as these. Avoid being manipulated by these companies if you can help it and put on the armor of the living God to stand against this darkness that goes on to affect us when not properly dealt with. The mind is Satan's playground.
