Divorce of Epic Proportions: 13 Southern California Counties Seek Succession As 'South California'

Thirteen inland conservative counties in Southern California are seeking to break away from the State of California claiming irreconcilable differences.  The primary reason for the differences, as was proposed by Riverside County  Supervisor Jeff Stone, is that California is an "ungovernable financial catastrophe".  The counties which are being proposed for succession are Fresno, Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Mono, Orange, San Bernardino, San Diego and Tulare that includes 13 million residents.

"On Tuesday, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors will consider Stone's proposal to host a statewide summit for city and county leaders to sketch out a framework for secession.

The politician said he was undaunted by scores of failed similar attempts since the 1800s, saying Californians haven't face such dismal economic times since the Great Depression.

This has struck a chord with a lot of people in the state who have suffered economically,'' said Stone, adding that he has received thousands of emails supporting his proposal. Having recently been to San Diego, I'm not at all surprised this proposal includes that county. San Diego's really bizarre like something out of the Twilight Zone to a San Franciscan such as myself.  From what I observed along with many I've later spoken with who also visited, San Diego's a tightly controlled oasis for Caucasians who want to live in a bubble world in Pleasantville.  During my two one day visits to San Diego I didn't see any African Americans, Latinos or Chinese people.   It makes total sense San Diego and Orange County would want to be separated as such.
